La Coupole
At the dawning of the XXIst century, Western Europe is living out the longest time of peace in its history. La Coupole recounts why and how this peace is the result of the drama and unheard of violence during the Second World War. There are 2 cinema screens, twenty or so films produced using rare archive images and offering more than 2 hours of projection, moving models and three-dimensional reconstitutions, not forgetting the presentation of V1 and V2 missiles.

In Flanders fields Museum
In Flanders Fields Museum is so much more than just a museum. It is a highly interesting experience that will take you to one of the darkest periods in history: the 14-18 Great War.
The battlefields of the Ypres Salient are among the most famous in the world. For years, the German, French and British armies fought on a front that was formed by a network of trenches in the hills surrounding the medieval town of Ypres. There was never any definite victory, thus the front line in 1918 was no different from that in 1914.
Accomodation:
 You will be staying at the Château de Tilques, far from the noise and pollution of the towns: the domain belongs to the Pas-de-Calais Nature Park.
Countryside is at the fore and the château reflects this pastoral atmosphere, down to the fabrics and tapestries in some of the rooms, providing chic and casual stays in exceptional surroundings. Located in former stables from the XVIIth century, the “Le Vert Mesnil” restaurant provides traditional and inventive cooking to highlight the local produce of our region. The cosy atmosphere of the château’s bar and lounges invites you to enjoy a moment of total and friendly relaxation.
